Vyacheslav Sargsyan — is a name known far beyond the borders of Turkmenistan. Over a half-century career, he has conquered 120 international photo competitions, winning numerous awards, including gold at the “Austrian Super Circuit”.
Holder of the FIAP titles of “FIAP Artist” and “FIAP Outstanding Master”, he was not only a talented photographer, but also a generous teacher, founder of the Ferula photo club.
Not immediately connecting his life with photography, a civil engineer by education, Sargsyan eventually found his true calling. His photographs graced publications about Turkmenistan and were published in international catalogs.
The master of an unconventional view was able to see beauty in the ordinary and convey it through the lens. His works are a chronicle of Turkmenistan, capturing architecture, nature and expressive faces of people.
Vyacheslav Sargsyan passed away, leaving behind an invaluable creative legacy that will inspire future generations of photo artists. Blessed memory of an outstanding master.
