To mark the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer, the public organization “Young Naturalist”, in collaboration with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), is announcing the launch of the scientific and creative competition “Ozone and Climate.”
The competition is open to students in grades 7-12 from secondary schools in the city of Ashgabat. Participation is individual. The main goal of the competition is to raise awareness among schoolchildren about the problems of the ozone layer and climate change, and to develop their ecological culture and research skills.
Task: Create a visual model and a project on the topic “What can a person do to preserve the ozone layer and mitigate the effects of climate change?” The model should visually demonstrate the proposed measures, and the project work should be 5-10 pages long.
Deadline for submission: Until September 26, 2025, to the public organization “Young Naturalist.”
Awards: All participants will receive certificates, and the winners will receive commemorative gifts.
