Dubai is taking its “City of Gold” title literally. The emirate has unveiled plans for the world’s first Gold Street, a centerpiece of the newly launched Dubai Gold District. Developed by Ithra Dubai, the street will feature actual gold elements integrated into its architecture. Designed to house the entire jewelry value chain—from bullion trading to high-end retail—Gold Street aims to be a shimmering landmark for both global investors and luxury-seeking tourists.
