On September 16–17, a United Nations Regional Seminar on youth empowerment, digital resilience, strategic communications, and strengthening the rule of law in Central Asia was held in Tokyo.
Representatives from Central Asian countries and Japan, international organizations, and youth and expert groups participated in the seminar. Turkmenistan was represented by a delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan.
During the event, an exchange of views took place on current issues of regional cooperation, with particular attention paid to the activities of the Central Asian Network for Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (CAPVE), the further development of regional cooperation, and strengthening interaction between government agencies, youth organizations, the expert community, and international partners.
Participants emphasized the importance of joint efforts and exchange of experiences to promote sustainable development, empower youth, and strengthen regional cooperation in Central Asia.
