In the third ten days of October, the Turkmen State Agricultural Institute, with the support of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, will hold three intellectual competitions for students from the country’s higher education institutions. The Olympiads will be held in an individual competition format and are open to students of all fields of study, as reported by the turkmenistan.gov.tm.

The series will open with the 3rd Internet Olympiad in Soil Science, which will take place on October 26 at 15:00 afternoon. Students in their third to fifth years are invited to participate, and they will have 90 minutes to answer 50 thematic test questions.

The first Internet Olympiad in Meteorology and Climatology will take place on October 28 at 15:00 afternoon. Second- to fourth-year students will complete 50 assignments, including 40 test questions and 10 problems, in 90 minutes.

The sixth online Olympiad in Theoretical Mechanics, scheduled for October 30 at 14:00 afternoon, will conclude the series. First- to third-year students will have 120 minutes to solve 50 assignments (30 tests and 20 problems).

Each university may participate in each competition with a maximum of five participants. Applications, including team and team leader information, are accepted until October 22 and can be emailed to tohi_tm@sanly.tm. Winners will be determined based on their total points and awarded diplomas. Results and detailed rules will be published on the institute’s official website.

The organizers note that the competition aims to deepen knowledge and develop creative thinking among young people, as well as strengthen inter-university cooperation and prepare talented students for international competitions.
