As part of the Turkmenistan Investment Forum (TIF-2026), a number of documents were signed between government agencies, private enterprises, and international partners, as reported by the Turkmenistan-Today news agency.

Among them is a memorandum of understanding and cooperation between the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan and the South Korean company OnU H&C. The Ministry of Railway Transport of Turkmenistan signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chinese company CSCEC International Construction Co., Ltd. (China State Construction Engineering Corporation).

The State Water Management Committee of Turkmenistan has reached an agreement with Damen Workboats BV and Liamol Trading GmbH to collaborate on the further development and improvement of the country’s water management system. The state-owned concern Türkmenhimiýa signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chinese company Tianjin Bohua Engineering Co., Ltd. on cooperation in developing Turkmenistan’s chemical industry.

In addition, the Balkan shipbuilding and ship repair yard signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation with Damen Technical Cooperation BV and Liamol Trading GmbH in the field of shipbuilding, ship repair, marine technology and local production in Turkmenistan for 2026-2036.

In addition to the memorandums, two agreements were signed: between the state concern Türkmennebit and the German company Hybrid Innovation GmbH, and between the state concern Türkmenhimiýa and the business entity Türkmen enjam.

Bilateral meetings were also held on the sidelines of the forum, during which promising areas for establishing mutually beneficial relations were identified.

The Turkmenistan Investment Forum will conclude on October 2. The second day will feature sessions on “Strategic Course for Economic Diversification. Cooperation with International Financial Institutions and Development Partners,” “Regulation of Virtual Assets and Implementation of Mining Technologies,” “Innovation, Financial Technologies. Digital and Green Transformations for Sustainable Development,” and a specialized conference on “Legal Regulation of Investments.”
