The United States, Denmark, and Greenland signed a new partnership agreement aimed at strengthening peace and security on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York. Under this agreement, drafted in a spirit of goodwill and cooperation, the parties agreed to modernize the Pituffik Space Base and to establish additional defense zones in Narsarsuak and Mestervig that take into account the interests of the local population.
