At the Computex 2026 tech conference in Taipei, Intel announced a major hardware and cloud architecture pivot aimed specifically at “agentic AI”—AI systems capable of running complex, multi-step autonomous workloads rather than just answering basic prompts. Partnering with SambaNova and Foxconn, Intel unveiled a new liquid-cooled rackscale AI infrastructure built on their next-generation Xeon 6+ data center processors. Additionally, they demonstrated a fully disaggregated enterprise inference cloud system that splits complex workloads seamlessly between Intel processors for orchestration, SambaNova RDUs for processing text generation, and NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs for heavy data loading.
