During the period from October 20 to 22, 2026, the 33rd meeting of the Board of the Public Key Directory, along with a specialized workshop, was held in Victoria, the capital of the Republic of Seychelles.
A delegation from the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan is taking part in this international forum.
Within the framework of the meetings, particular attention was paid to the modernization of the technical base of border control authorities and the implementation of advanced digital solutions. Participants discussed practical steps for utilizing master lists to authenticate travel documents, as well as the introduction of new digital formats, including electronic pilot licenses and digital travel credentials. Separate sessions were dedicated to regional capacity building and the launch of a pilot project for interaction with the private sector. Following the results of the multi-day work, an updated strategic plan aimed at deepening multilateral cooperation between states was approved.
The participation of representatives of our Service in this international forum, as well as in numerous conferences and meetings held on migration issues, is a vivid testament to the fact that our Independent, permanently Neutral Homeland attaches particular importance to strengthening international cooperation in the migration sphere and successfully implements a progressive humanitarian policy.
