Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez officially married in a private ceremony in Portugal after a decade of dating. Family members and children attended the ceremony, and the couple announced the happy news on social media by sharing a photo of their wedding rings.
Previously, various speculations and a large guest list had been circulating in the press and on social media that their wedding would take place in the summer of 2026. There was even a false rumor that the wedding would take place on August 8 in the cathedral of the footballer’s hometown of Funchal, which caused thousands of residents and fans of the city to gather.
They first met in 2016 at a Gucci store in Madrid and over time they strengthened their relationship. In November 2017, their daughter Alana Martina was born, and in April 2022, twins were born, but one of the twins, Angel, died, and the little girl Bella Esmeralda, survived. In addition, he has five children, including twins from a surrogate mother – a son and a daughter – and a son from Ronaldo’s previous relationship – overall.
Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo, who currently plays for Saudi Arabian club Al-Nasr, has previously played for Sporting, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus. He has won the Ballon d’Or five times during his career and is considered one of the greatest scorers in football history.
