The world’s longest Italian tiramisu dessert was created in London. A team of 100 Italian chefs created the 440-meter-long dessert at Chelsea Town Hall. A Guinness World Records judge officially certified the achievement.
The previous record—273 meters—was set in Milan in 2019. Mirko Ricci, the organizer of the London project, previously held the record in 2017 but later relinquished it.
The gigantic dessert required approximately 2.2 tons of mascarpone cheese, 50,000 savoiardi biscuits, and over 3000 chicken eggs. The process required precise coordination: the tiramisu was laid out piece by piece, joining them together on the spot to form a single line.
After the record was set, the dessert was cut into portions and distributed to event attendees. A portion of the treat was also donated to charity.
