Turkmen students were named winners and prize recipients at the Sixth International Olympiad on Financial Security.

The final round of the Sixth International Olympiad on Financial Security took place from 27 September to 2 October at Siberian Federal University in Krasnoyarsk, the Russian Federation. The competition brought together around 700 school pupils and university students from more than 40 countries. Its main theme was the use of artificial intelligence in financial security and the risks associated with it.

Ten students from seven higher education institutions in Turkmenistan competed in international relations, law, economics and information security. Two were named winners, while six received prizes.

In the Law category, Guljahan Gurbanova, a student at the International University for the Humanities and Development, and Rejep Rejepov, a student at Magtymguly Turkmen State University, were declared winners of the Olympiad.

In the International relations category Dawud Abdykadyrov, a student at Magtymguly Turkmen State University, and Sahydowlet Hummetjumeyev, a student at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, received prizes.

From the Economics category Shukur Esedov, a student at the Aba Annayev International horse breeding Academy; Dawut Gezerov, a student at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan; and Hanmuhammet Tuwakov, a student at the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management, received prizes. Bahar Bekiyeva, also a student at the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management, performed well in the final round.

In the Information security category Begnazar Begnazarov, a student at the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, received a prize. Jumageldi Arslanovich Serdarov, a student at the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan, also demonstrated his knowledge and skills in the final round.

During the Olympiad, the Turkmen participants exchanged experiences and strengthened friendships with peers from around the world. They also spoke about neutral Turkmenistan’s peaceful policy and the country’s achievements. The students emphasised that their success was above all the result of the wide range of opportunities available to young people and the dedicated work of their teachers.
