The opening of the “Alternative Medicine Room” took place at the Myrat Garryev State Medical University of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat. A delegation led by the Rector of the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine attended the opening ceremony.
Oguljahan Atabayeva, Vice President for Medical Affairs at the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Children’s Charitable Foundation, also participated in the opening ceremony.
During the event, speakers emphasized that bilateral relations cover a wide range of areas. Ceremony participants were introduced to the modern room, its medical equipment, and its main areas of alternative medicine.
The celebration then continued in the university’s large conference hall. Here, in recognition of his contribution to the development of cooperation between the two educational institutions and the exchange of experience, Tang Zhishu, Rector of the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of the Myrat Garryev State Medical University of Turkmenistan.
The event participants congratulated the rector on receiving the honorary title and expressed confidence in the further development of cooperation in this area.
