The State Migration Service of Turkmenistan has introduced new digital services. These improvements have been available since October 1.
The electronic visa application and issuance system (e-Visa) was introduced in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan “On Migration” and allows foreign citizens and stateless persons to obtain permission to enter Turkmenistan.
An “Online Registration System” has also been developed to keep track of foreign citizens residing in the country. This allows foreign citizens, as well as individuals and legal entities hosting them, to register foreign citizens online, without having to visit a Service office in person.
New digital services will allow foreign citizens arriving in our country to save time, transfer their document flow to an electronic format, and complete all procedures quickly and efficiently. Furthermore, these systems will improve the efficiency of the migration service and ensure that services are organized in line with modern requirements.
