The GOTECH 2026 International Technology Conference is taking place in Dubai, with key topics including digitalization, artificial intelligence, and improved production efficiency in the global energy sector. Dragon Oil, a Diamond Partner of the upcoming OGT 2026 conference, served as the forum’s host.
The event brought together senior executives and thought leaders, including representatives from Dragon Oil, PETRONAS Carigali (Turkmenistan), and Crystol Energy, who connected discussions of innovation in the UAE with the development of Turkmenistan’s oil and gas sector.
The forum’s main trend is the industrial implementation of AI, data analytics, and automation for field management and emissions reduction.
These technologies are particularly relevant for Turkmenistan’s key projects: further development of the giant Galkynysh field, construction of the TAPI gas pipeline, exploration on the Caspian shelf, and the development of deep gas processing.
The dialogue initiated in Dubai will be further developed in Ashgabat at the OGT 2026 International Conference, where international investors and technology businesses will discuss specific projects directly with the country’s energy community.
