As part of Turkmenistan’s partnership with the International Organization of Turkic Culture, an opera concert dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of Turkmen composer Veli Mukhadov and TURKSOY Opera Days will be held in Ashgabat in May. Deputy Prime Minister B. Seyidova reported this at a meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan, presenting a corresponding proposal to the head of state for consideration.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan is expanding cooperation with TURKSOY and implementing joint cultural events. The head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to properly prepare for the upcoming events in Ashgabat and ensure their high level of organization.
