Turkmenistan will participate in the Kazan Halal Market exhibition, which will be held from May 12 to 17 in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, as part of the 17th International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum”.
Kazan Halal Market is an international trade fair showcasing food products, cosmetics, clothing, accessories, and household goods. Participants are required to have halal certification for their products.
Last year, more than 150 companies from Russia, as well as manufacturers from Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkiye, Iran, India, and Senegal, participated in the exhibition.
Turkmenistan, Russia, and Afghanistan intend to sign a trilateral agreement to create a new transit corridor on the sidelines of “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum”.
